I want to keep in touch with my kids at all times, I need a cellphone service that is cheap, easy to use for the kids, and possibly comes with three phones (one adult, two kids) to contact me anytime. I am a single parent so cost is the most important matter in this situation. If you can’t think of a cell phone service what is the next best thing. We already use walky talkeys but they are bulky and not very private and don’t work over a certain amout of distance or in certain buildings.

I kind of came upon it by accident through a chat forum where someone was mentioning it was a great service that didn’t have all of the hassles as regular phone company service. I’m not sure exactly what it is or what it does though…is it for home lines or more like a business? Is there a lot of programming and parts to buy?

Note that I will only go prepaid since I don’t really talk on the phone for more than 5 minutes at a time and at $40 a month, is a waste compared to paying around $20 to $50 every 2 months.

Do the callers get routed to voicemail or do they get some type of message stating the caller is out of the service area? I am just curious if they are still able to get to my voicemail box.
